If you’ve recently booked an appointment to see our beautiful Rufford Pastures show-home in Edwinstowe – here’s what to expect when you arrive, and the measures we’ve taken for the safety of our visitors and colleagues.
To make sure you have a safe visit, we have implemented several procedures listed in the “What happens when I visit” section below. Please be assured that after every appointment, the show-home is thoroughly cleaned ready for you. If you do feel unwell, please do not visit. Only members of your household can visit in any one appointment.
What happens when I visit?
- We can accommodate a maximum of 2 people (from the same household) per viewing
- Upon arrival, please give us a call on 01623 827695
- The NHS Test & Trace app is being offered at Rufford Pastures, please scan the QR code to check-in
- Our team will use a contactless digital thermometer to remotely check your temperature – anyone exhibiting a high temperature of over 37.8C will unfortunately be unable to visit
- Please use our hand gel provided prior to viewing the show-home, you may keep your bottle as a gift from us
- Please wear disposable gloves provided during your viewing
- In line with the latest guidance, a face covering has to be worn during your viewing unless you have a medical exemption
- Please follow the 2m social distancing rules with our staff
- Once you have finished viewing, we can answer your questions at a safe distance
Please do not attend your appointment if you have or develop:
- A new persistent cough or difficulty breathing
- A fever or high temperature, or loss of sense of smell or taste
- Flu like symptoms and pains
- Been in contact with anyone who has shown signs of the above symptoms
For the safety of our staff and visitors, please note our current safety guidelines before your visit
- Our staff will be strictly following the 2m (6ft) social distancing rules during any physical viewings.

- Our team will use a contactless digital thermometer to remotely check your temperature – anyone exhibiting a high temperature of over 37.8C will unfortunately be unable to visit
- In order to allow for social distancing, we will only be able to allow a maximum of 2 people (from the same household) inside our show-home during the viewing
- Please do not attend your appointment if you currently have symptoms of Covid-19 or if you or a member of your household are currently self-isolating – please read the latest government guidelines
- Wash your hands regularly and please use hand sanitiser before and after your viewing
- We will also provide disposable gloves for you to wear during your viewing and we ask you to refrain from touching any surfaces.
- In line with the latest guidance, a face covering has to be worn during your viewing unless you have a medical exemption
- Unfortunately, at this time we will be unable to offer any refreshments (tea, coffee etc.) during your visit. We will also be unable to sign any paperwork during your visit, or provide our usual brochures. However, we will be happy to email electronic copies of these to you should you wish
- If you have any questions once you have finished your viewing, our staff will be available to answer them at a safe distance
